Chicken tagine with olives and candied lemons
A succulent chicken tagine that combines the flavors of olives and candied lemons, enhanced by fragrant spices. A comforting dish that will delight your guests.

Preparation steps
In a tagine dish or cast iron casserole dish, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Brown the sliced onions and chopped garlic. Salt and pepper the chicken pieces, then add them to brown for 5 to 10 minutes, turning them several times.
In a container, mix the water with the ginger and cumin, add the lemon juice.
Peel and cut your potatoes into quarters. Arrange them in the casserole dish around the chicken. Pour the preparation (water, spices and lemon) over everything and add the remaining garlic cloves in their shirts.
Cover and bake at 150°C for 1 hour.
Remove the dish from the oven. Add the olives, the candied lemons cut into quarters and the coriander.
Return to the oven for 30 minutes at 150°C. The potatoes will finish browning in the sauce during this time.
