Chicken Tikka Masala
An iconic Indian dish, chicken tikka masala, features pieces of chicken marinated in spices, cooked to perfection and coated in a creamy, spicy sauce. Perfect to accompany basmati rice.

Chicken (breast)
600 g

Onions

Garlic
4 gousse(s)

Ground ginger
1 c. à café

Cumin
1 c. à café

Paprika
1 c. à café

Crushed tomatoes
400 g

Tomato paste
2 c. à soupe

Fresh cream
200 ml
Preparation steps

Cut the chicken into pieces and marinate it with yogurt, cumin, paprika, ginger, salt and lemon juice for at least 1 hour.

In a pan, heat some oil and fry the onions until they are golden.

Add the garlic then sauté for 2 minutes.

Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until nicely browned.

Add the crushed tomatoes and tomato paste, then simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the crème fraîche and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Serve hot with basmati rice.
