Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).

In a blender, reduce the slices of stale bread into breadcrumbs.

Slice the shallots and garlic.

In a pan, heat the olive oil and fry the shallots and garlic until translucent.

Add the breadcrumbs and mix well to coat. Brown lightly.

In an oven dish, place the fish fillets, season with salt and pepper.

Drizzle with white wine and lemon juice.

Cover the fish with the breadcrumb mixture.

Add a few pats of butter on top.

Bake for about 20 minutes, until the fish is cooked and the crust is golden.

Meanwhile, cook your rice according to the instructions on the packet.
