Preparation steps

Cut the chicken into pieces and marinate with yogurt, lemon juice, garlic-ginger paste, garam masala, paprika, turmeric, and salt for at least 30 minutes.

In a pan, heat oil and sauté the marinated chicken until browned.

In a blender, combine tomatoes and cashews, blend until smooth and set aside.

In the same pan, melt butter and add the blended tomato-cashew mixture, along with paprika and garam masala.

Simmer the sauce for about 10 minutes, then add the cooked chicken and cream, stirring to combine.

Adjust the seasoning with sugar if desired and simmer for another 5 minutes.
