Spaghetti with Bell Pepper Cream, Chorizo, and Shrimp
A creamy dish full of character, ready in no time: bell pepper adds sweetness, chorizo gives a kick, and shrimp adds a seafood touch.

Preparation steps
Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted water according to the package instructions. Drain (keeping a small ladle of cooking water).
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
Add the chorizo and bell pepper. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring until the bell pepper starts to soften.
Add the shrimp and cook for 2 minutes (just until they are hot/pink).
Add the cream, season lightly with salt (the chorizo is already salty) and pepper. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
If the sauce is too thick: add a bit of the pasta cooking water.
Add the drained spaghetti to the skillet and mix well to coat.
