Preparation steps

Rinse the sauerkraut under cold water and drain well.

In a large pot, melt the butter and sauté the onions until translucent.

Add the sauerkraut, white wine, bay leaves, and juniper berries. Stir to combine.

Place the pork cuts and sausages on top of the sauerkraut.

Cover the pot and let it simmer on low heat for about 1.5 hours. Check occasionally and add a little water if it becomes too dry.

About 20 minutes before serving, add the potatoes to the pot and continue to cook until tender.
